Big week for the Crew! We went on our first car ride—no sickness, no fuss. Windows down, noses up, all business. Mum said we were going to the vet, which sounded important… and it was.
We got poked, prodded, vaccinated, microchipped, and DNA-swabbed—a full-service experience. We took it all with absolute bravado and even managed to charm the vet team. Apparently, we’re “very good puppies.” We already knew that.
Back home, playtime has gone up a notch. Tugs, balls, wrestling—it’s all part of daily training now. We’re still sorting out who’s the boss, though that title changes by the hour. One moment you’re ruling the yard, the next your toy’s been stolen and you’re demoted. Keeps things lively.
We’ve also invented a new favorite game. When Mum says “follow the feet,” we do—at full speed. But now we’ve discovered that catching the feet is even more fun. Biting ankles, tugging socks, and making holes? Fantastic. Mum doesn’t seem quite as impressed as we are.
Outside, the magpie still visits every day, watching us like some kind of feathery supervisor. We’re determined to catch it. So far… zero success, but plenty of enthusiasm.
We also had our second visit from the nice humans who might become our forever families. They came back, so clearly we did something right the first time. We turned on the charm again—lots of wagging, climbing, kisses, and a few strategically placed puddles.
Seven weeks old now—braver, bolder, faster, and quite good at sock modifications. The world’s starting to look like our playground, and we’re just getting started.
