What an exhilarating adventure it has been for Sandro (Jabina Soro) as he proudly flew the flag for Australia at the 2019 WUSV IGP World Championships in Italy! This monumental event is now part of history, but the pride, insights, and unforgettable memories we've gathered will last a lifetime.
The journey from Australia to Italy was no small feat. Preparing both the dogs and handlers for a global event of this magnitude demanded immense dedication and effort. Competing alongside some of the world's elite handlers and trainers is a triumph in itself, and Sandro proudly placed 54th out of 130 competitors — a significant achievement in a field of such high caliber.
A huge thanks to everyone involved in making this event possible. The coordination, communication, and logistical effort that went into getting Sandro to Italy and back home was a monumental task, but it was worth every bit of hard work. This event has taught us so much, and we can’t wait to apply all the lessons learned in future competitions.
