Jabina Nala - Kita - was the foundation of Kanikular — the dog that started it all. Her strength, stability, and spirit have shaped our breeding vision from the very beginning, and her legacy lives on in every generation that follows. Kita is a powerful, driven, and charismatic female with a deep passion for work and a relentless desire to please her handler. She brings intensity to everything she does, from her energetic and problem-solving approach in tracking, to her precision, speed, and focus in obedience. Defence work is where she shines brightest — a natural outlet for her full, confident grip and strong nerve, a hallmark of the renowned Jabina line. She commits 100% every time she hits the field, engaging with the helper using her entire body and spirit. Kita is not just willing — she’s wired to work. Kita arrived in Sydney in April 2014 and quickly made her mark. Within ten months, she achieved her BH, IPO1 (94, 88, 93), and IPO2 (95, 80, 95). In 2016, she earned her IPO3 title at the WGSDCA National IPO3 Championship, becoming the first female to win the event, with an impressive 265-point performance (76, 94, 95). Later that year, Kita competed at the WUSV World Championship in Meppen, Germany, placing 92nd out of more than 150 dogs, including a strong 85-point performance in protection work (C phase). From a pedigree standpoint, Kita (Jabina Nala) comes from a standout lineage. Her sire, Jabina Gustav, was a phenomenal tracker who earned a perfect 100-point track at the 2012 Danish Championship — off-leash — and went on to win the WUSV selection trial later that year with scores of 98, 94, 97, all at just 20 months of age. He later placed 16th at the GSD Masters World Tournament. Kita’s granddam, Jabina Dighte, was a world-class competitor herself, placing 12th at the 2009 WUSV, 22nd at the 2009 FCI IPO World Championship, and earning top spots in numerous national and international competitions — including a 3rd place finish at WUSV 2007 and victory at the Danish FCI Championship in 2008.
